Ok, so this is s freaky subject with me....I have always believed in ghosts and the afterlife and all. And, I guess I also hold true to the fact that some people say that not all spirits and ghosts are something to be afraid of. Fair enough, sometimes spirits are caught in between...and as much as I accept and share this belief, it still has the stregnth to terrify the crap out of me!!!
When I first met my husband, I used to listen to this radio show at night in the dark. It was hosted by a guy named Art Bell on CBC, and it was a talk show that people called in and shared their spiritual or supernatural experiences. I would freak myself out so bad I would wake my husband up because I was scared shitless!!!! Then he would be soooo impressed that now both of us were losing sleep!!!!
Years later, I still have the same issues. I remember being at a garage sale and buying a Ouiji Board - I had to have this but was terrified to use it - to open the portal into my home!!!! So on the shelf it sat, and sat, and sat....until I came downstairs the afternoon before my wedding day to find my two teenage cousins and my step daughter setting it up. Freaky deaky me grabbed it right out of their hands and put it directly into the garbage!!!
Since then, friends and family laugh me out of the house when I try to watch shows like Ghost Hunters or Paranomal State, because I MUST watch it in the dark but then get so freaked out I tear up. So the hubby just informs me that he wants to take me to a new movie that is out this weekend....Paranormal Activity....so I look up the trailer on the internet here....and I clearly will not be sleeping in the next 5 days!!!! This is so messed up!!!! I got so scared watching this trailer I cried!!! I will probably get physically sick in the theater watching it...love to hear your opinions on the matter at hand....BOOHHHHHH!!!!!!
